Voice Recorder & Voice Memos is an audio and sound recording app. This app offers three presets to capture different types of audio, but also gives you the possibility of creating your own custom settings, allowing you to record in your desired format and quality.

Includes three presets

The first preset, called "standard", is highly recommended to record the widest possible range of sounds and frequencies from your device. In this mode, audio is captured in mono, in M4A format, at a frequency of 44.1kHz and a bit rate of 128Kbps.

The second preset is the music setting, designed to offer superior quality and prioritize music-related frequencies. In this case, the sound is converted to stereo, while maintaining the other features of standard mode.

Lastly, there is the meeting and conference preset, which prioritizes vocal frequencies while reducing ambient noise. The sound quality in this mode increases from 128Kbps to 256Kbps, ensuring superior quality.

Pause the recording or add markers

Once you start the recording by pressing the corresponding button, the app allows you to pause the recording and add markers to make it easier to review key moments. You also have the option to save the recording directly if you wish to stop it altogether, allowing you to assign a title and a label to help you identify it.

In the app settings, you can activate functions such as automatic gain to pick up distant sounds, noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation or automatic pause in case of an incoming call.
